Tell the conventional operation process of CNC lathe

1. Writing or programming: Before CNC lathe processing, the processing program of the workpiece should be compiled first. If the processing program of the workpiece is longer and more complicated, it is best not to program on the machine tool, but to use the programming machine programming or manual programming to avoid occupying the machine For short programs, it should also be written on the program sheet.

2. Turn on: Generally, turn on the machine tool first, and then turn on the system. In some designs, the two are interlocked, and the machine cannot display information on the CRT without powering on.

3. Reference point return: For machine tools with incremental control systems, this step must be executed first to establish the movement standard of each coordinate of the machine tool.

4. Edit input of the program: If the input program needs to be modified, it needs to be edited. At this time, set the mode selection switch to the EDIT position, and use the edit key to add, delete, and change.

5. The CNC lathe is locked and the program is run. This step is to check the program. If there is an error, edit it again.

6. Workpiece loading, aligning, tool setting. Manual incremental movement, continuous movement or hand-casting moving lathe is adopted. Align the tool setting point to the starting point of the program, and align the tool reference.

7. Start the coordinate feed and perform continuous processing. Generally, the program processing in the memory is used. This method has a lower failure rate than the program processing on the paper tape. The feed speed during processing can be adjusted by the feedrate override switch. During processing, you can press the feed hold button FEEDHOLD to pause the feed movement, observe the processing situation or perform manual measurement.

Press the CYCLESTART button on the CNC lathe to resume processing. To ensure that the program is correct, you should recheck it before processing. During turning, for flat curved workpieces, a pencil can be used instead of a tool to draw the contour of the workpiece on paper, which is more intuitive. If the system has a tool path simulation function, it can be used to check the correctness of the program.

8. Operation display: Use the various screens of the CRT to display the position of the workbench or the tool, the program and the state of the machine tool, so that the operator can monitor the processing situation.

9. Program output: After the program ends, if it is necessary to save the program, it can be left in the CNC memory. If the program is too long, the program in the memory can be output to an external device for storage.

10. Part detection and removal: When the workpiece is still in the chuck clamping, the workpiece size is detected. If the size of the workpiece is unqualified, the tool should be compensated appropriately, and the workpiece should be removed when the size is qualified.

11. Shutdown: Generally, the CNC lathe should be shut down first, and then the system.
